He just spams those two abilities plus good ol' Lighting Strike at range, and if they get close he goes into one of his powerful grapple combos that knocks the opponent back (Riddle of the Sphinx, I believe), then starts all over again. I managed to get both his Deity's Bolt (lighting bolt from the sky that replaces Black Magic) and Rolling Thunder (allows Lighting Cage to be cast at 3 different distances), and I can feel the enemy AI's pain. The animators did a phenomenal job on her in that regard.īlack Adam, on the other hand, is an absolute monster with the setup I have. Did I mention how graceful Poison Ivy looks when she's fighting? Yeah, it's kinda mesmerizing. It's utterly terrifying how powerful she gets with these two abilities. She switches seamlessly from spamming Vine Drill and Deadly Thorns at range to taking out her opponent's legs with Flowing Earth and going into 10-15 hit combos. As part of the gear grind I managed to get a couple of abilities for both of them, and when I add them to the AI loadouts, HOLY HELL BATMAN! Seriously, these two are insane! I have both of them set up with 10 Rush-25 Combo-20 Counter-5 Zoning, and it's brutal!įor Poison Ivy I have her Deadly Thorns ability (from leveling her up) and Flowing Earth (ground slide from mother boxes). Since the recent Poison Ivy event, though, I've been using her a lot more both myself and for the AI.
